For almost 20 years, local musicians George D'Amato of Mt. Pleasant and George Weaver of North Huntingdon, have been spreading the gospel with their unique, original style of Christian music. They call it "Good News Blues" - a little bit of rock & roll with a lot of R & B and soul. Joining them is good friend and singer/musician Diana Mikash, also from North Huntingdon, PA. Besides working with the guys in the band "MIXX" and as the MIXX Trio, Diana is also a childrens choir director at two churches.

"Good News Blues" performs at churches, coffee houses, festivals, picnics, recovery groups and any organization wanting to hear some great music with a positive message.

Good News Blues will be performing Saturday, October 16 on the Meeting House Stage from 11 a.m. - Noon, 1 - 2 p.m., 3 - 4 p.m.
