B.E. Taylor is a nationally recognized recording and performing artist who continues to blaze new musical trails. Perhaps best known to regional audiences for his phenomenally successful annual Christmas Tour, Taylor is busy year-round with a variety of writing, recording, and performing projects. In 2008 Taylor's music was the subject of a week-long Pittsburgh Ballet performance that featured original choreography set to his most popular love ballads.

During the Eighties the B.E. Taylor Group recorded three major label albums with MCA and Epic/CBS, scored a regional number one with Vitamin L and charted with Karen. Taylor was one of the first artists to have success with his own boutique label and has released six albums on Chrishae Records, including his breakthrough Christmas albums. A track from his Try Love CD, Love You All Over, has become a wedding anniversary staple on the nationally-syndicated Delilah radio show. Taylor’s latest CD release – Give Thanks - features his unique renditions of gospel favorites.

He has performed on several national commercial spots and has performed with such legendary acts as Chicago, Todd Rundgren, Little River Band, Christopher Cross, the Beach Boys, Kansas, Jeff Beck, & many more.

Over the past decade, B.E. has written, performed, and produced for the award-winning cable TV show, Light Music, for which he was the music director. Light Music won the Billboard award for BEST Contemporary Christian/Mainstream Video Show in 1993, 1994, 1995. Light Music aired on over 1000 cable systems in America and nine foreign countries.

Taylor's signature is his powerful, supple voice. Growing up in Aliquippa, PA, Taylor's primary influences were Motown and The Beatles, both of which continue to be a part of his musical vocabulary. Although he's an accomplished songwriter, Taylor's loyal fan base returns year after year to his holiday shows to hear his stunning arrangements of Christmas favorites. Music from his two Christmas CDs receives national radio airplay during the holiday season.

His musical diversification has graced him the opportunity of performing with symphonies, ballets, and other cultural musical events. Putting his own stamp on beloved songs is a big part of what Taylor does, and he’s never taken it lightly. Fired up by a spectacular band of what B.E. calls “A-plus musicians – together the result is a revelation even for longtime fans – passionate, playful, boisterous, intimate and everything in between, B.E.’s live performance is a dazzling pairing of singer, material, and musicianship.

B.E. Taylor is also extraordinarily generous with his time and talent and regularly performs at area charity events, including the YWCA, United Way, Special Olympics, Easter Seals, Toys for Tots, Bundle Up, Early Learning Disabilities Institute, Children's Hospital, Tickets for Kids, American Cancer Society, just to name a few.
